508 day of war

Hello, friends!

Lately, it seems like the number of shelling incidents has decreased, and it has become a bit calmer. As far as I understand, most of the rockets and drones are flying towards the front line, so there are fewer air sirens in the rear cities.
Of course, this kind of lifestyle has become quite tiresome after 1.5 years, and it's still unclear if there will be any progress this year. I believe in better days, but all we are receiving at the moment are warnings that the coming winter will be even more challenging, and we need to prepare for the worst.
Currently, during the berry seasons, I'm trying to make reserves to have something to eat during winter. I'm starting to understand parents who used to preserve vegetables and make all sorts of preserves. Previously, I didn't understand why they went through all that trouble when everything could be easily bought at the store. But now I realize that it's not just a tradition, but a necessity born out of wars. It's terrible when every generation in a country lives through war, and unfortunately, we haven't been spared from this fate.

There's quite a lot of work to do around the house right now because there's less than a week left before the trip, and everything needs to be prepared and cleaned up. At the same time, I'm dealing with a bunch of work-related issues, and the faucet broke again, so I had to dismantle the sink and replace it. It seems like I'm becoming quite the handyman for home repairs since these household fixes are getting easier for me.)

It also seems like train tickets are in short supply because it turned out to be quite difficult to buy them. While we managed to purchase the tickets for the trip there, there are no tickets available for the return journey. I think we'll be able to find a bus to any nearby big city, but we'll have to figure that out once we get there. I believe we'll manage to find something

There's very little time left and a lot of work to do, so every day is quite busy, and there's a lot to take care of. I'm holding on to the thought that soon I'll be able to enjoy beautiful landscapes and relax a bit because it's getting really difficult to live.

Thank you all for your support and help on buymeacoffee. Thank you for still being with us. Have a great day!
