Out and About

A couple of old bridges

The blip is the old packhorse bridge in Aberlour built , probably , before 1624 and rebuilt in 1729 for £5 by Robert Duff which may explain why its still standing today and is safe to walk on, to cross the burn of Aberlour.
The extra is Craigellachie Bridge , a fine old cast iron bridge over the River Spey , the oldest surviving in Scotland , designed by Thomas Telford, opened in 1814 with the iron cast in Denbighshire - that's in Wales.  Oh, and PS it rained all day, the hot dry spell seems to have come to an end.
