Ménage à Trois

On the edge of Kirkcaldy, there is a disused railway siding that used to service the former Seafield coal pit.  Now a footpath linking a housing estate to the local coastal path, it is just under 1/2 mile long.  Today, I counted the most speckled woods (Pararge aegeria) in such a short distance that I have ever seen - 27 of them, including this Ménage à Trois where an extra male (top) is trying to muscle in on a mating pair.
