Sweet sweet the memories you gave me..............

It's our 53rd wedding anniversary today. J did drop me off at the gym, although he didn't go out on his motorbike (too wet) I had lot's of kisses and hugs from the boy's & girls in the gym, which was lovely. When I phoned J to come & pick me up, I said, Can you get me to the church on time?  We were married at 12 o' clock,  so I changed as soon as I got in, and at the allotted time, I had Alexa  play the Wedding March, & we renewed our vows. Who said romance is dead? We are having a steak meal, with all the trimmings later on.
 Before John left the gym, Des happened to say he couldn't stop singing that song by Dean Martin, called Sweet sweet the memories you gave me, you know the one. John said, no, that was Perry Como.  John left then, but Des was adamant that he was right. Des said maybe Fion ( the trainer) will know. I said, I don't think so, as she is in her twenties. We went to ask her & she looked it up on the computer, and Des was indeed right. This is the kind of thing we get up to in the gym, as well as exercising:-) So this brings me back to our special day, and perfect for my title.
