From France to Spain...

Always sad to leave Collioure but more happy memories made!  - please excuse the collages. Main of our beautiful hotel and extras- wanderings around the town. After a run, swim and breakfast, we drove the long windy way ( rather than motorway ) into Spain. Such an interesting drive along the coast and then inland through the foothills of the Pyrenees. We are staying in a parador - this one is a fortress dating back to 9th century. More of that tomorrow! 
If you don t know- paradors are state run hotels in Spain....'usually of historical / monumental importance in legendary places. '
