Day at a Time

Dorothy Wordsworth's Darning Basket

By 6pm yesterday we had all arrived in Grasmere. The house is perfect. Wonderful views of the fells from every window. We had a lovely evening and settled down in reasonable time.

This morning we were in the hot tub by 08:00. What decadence. After breakfast we walked into Grasmere and had a mooch about, coffee and then a visit to Dove Cottage, the home of Dorothy, William and Mary Wordsworth. It was very good and informative. The museum is really well laid out. I enjoyed the gardens of course.

Back through to Grasmere to the pub near the house for a late lunch then back by about 6pm to take our ease. A lazy evening ahead and another day of fun to look forward to tomorrow.

I'm afraid I can't fit blip in this week.
