Day 17 Hot weather

Another day hot enough (34C) to make siesta necessary. We started with coffee in the camper to show it off to our hosts, then a delightful breakfast of fresh oranges, croissants, and grapefruit juice, then walked to church in the cool of morning only to find there was no church this morning! So home again already feeling warm. We chatted and philosophised away, ate lunch, and then did siesta.
I dozed in the hammock, outside but in the shade, for about 80 minutes before the cat turned up and gave me my blip.
We have some Swedish acquaintances /friends who are having health issues at the moment. It felt good we were around to meet them and share a dinner Sem Fim with them this evening.
To sum up - a good day, but a day that showed hot weather can close you inside at least as thoroughly as rainy weather can!!
