Happiness is……

A dog pottering in a river in the early morning light. Maisie loves a paddle in the river at the end of our walk. It was very windy from early this morning. Not particularly pleasant for walking. Worse for cyclists riding into the strong head wind.
The wind howled around the garden blowing the petals of the flowering cherry tree like pale pink driven snow into all corners of the property. However it didn’t stop friend Lynette and I having a good few hours working in the garden. At least the day was warm. We are expecting a brief very cold front to sweep up the country from down south overnight. And perhaps some unseasonal snow in the lower South Island.
