Swansea Marina

I went into Swansea with R this morning. We both needed new running shoes so we decided to go to a specialist shop to get gait analysis on the treadmill. The shop assistant was very thorough and we both tried on several pairs and tested them out on the treadmill with him videoing our running so he could analyse how we were running in various trainers. We both came away with the same trainers - as we have done for the last two pairs :))
Mr M worked in the car while we were in the shops and then we walked to the marina and went to a new coffee venue on the seafront called The Observatory. It had wonderful views, good coffee and toast. It also had quirky decor and games, so we played Scrabble whilst sitting in the sunshine. Very nice.
R and I took the dogs for a walk along the canal in the afternoon, with several kingfisher sightings.
R travels back this evening. It’s been lovely having here here for five days. Always a joy to spend time with her.
