Before Cieran

As the UK Met Office has declared Storm Ciaran a "major incident" and issued an amber weather warning for the South West and South Coast of England for Thursday, we made the most of the dry spells today for a long-ish walk. Full rain gear was worn!  Coming off the coastal path and crossing the fields towards the pub at Chidham, the little road was deserted. So we too will now batten down the hatches and stay home.

In extra, just before darkness fell late this afternoon, from the front door. It looked deceptively peaceful.
