FUNGUS

Had a wander down to the village this afternoon - I had parcels to collect. ( nothing for me --- it was online Christmas present shopping ) 

Walked down the back lane through the allotments. It was quite muddy but not as bad as I feared.  Saw lots of different types of fungus.  So Ive chosen one of them for my Tiny Tuesday blip.  There are no themes this month.  Thanks to osuzanna for hosting

I'm finally up to date with the washing - still lots of ironing to do but there's no hurry.

We had a dry day today so the kitchen roof didn't leak.  Someone is coming tomorrow morning to take a look at it.  We will see what he says.

Newcastle United were playing another Champions League match this evening - an away game against Borussia Dortmund. Kick off 5.45pm.   When the two teams played at St James Park on 26th Oct. Dortmund won by 1 goal to nil. I was able to watch tonights match live on my PC.  The score was Dortmund 2 Newcastle 0.  Dortmund were just the better team on the night.  Newcastle are at a disadvantage at the moment as quite a few of their key players are injured... and some of the injuries are bad enough to keep the players out of the squad for months not weeks.  The team that played this evening did their best but unfortunately it wasn't enough. To qualify for the last 16 in the competition Newcastle will have to win the next two matches. Thats a tough ask.
