Jumping Zebra

A Zebra Spider, aka Jumping Spider. Not exactly representative of a hectic day, but nice to grab nonetheless (p.s. it's tiny, about 4-5mm across, and I did rotate and crop the image at one point, but I prefer the 'context' shot). Beautiful little thing seen through the macro lens.

The day was sort of focussed around having Mel's dad down for some smørrebrød out in the garden, so the shopping had to be done early (after a relaxed enough breakfast in the garden with the paper); then spent a bit of time trying to find somewhere in Edinburgh selling aquavit, to no avail - but at least it got me out on the bike for an hour and 10 fun miles.

I did, though, manage to factor in a trip to the bike shop for the last couple of things needed to get the commuter back up and running - so with George now back off home.... It's garage time.
