Gardening

Jon does 2 hours a week gardening for a friend's uncle who lives in the next village. Today, after coffee it was gardening time, and I went with him to help. It is a small garden, but since Jon has been working there, he has pruned a lot of big trees and shrubs. So today I was able to put them through the chipper, reducing an enormous pile of branches down to a small pile of chippings, and making lots of space. Customer pleased, and it got me out!

Earlier, Jon had been to archery on his own, as the boys were both camping out last night. I made a fish pie for the evening meal - very nearly a disaster, but I rescued it.

I did a bit on the photo album this afternoon in the conservatory but it was cold out there. So I moved in to the lounge at 4.20 to watch a naff Christmas film while making another 10 mice!

Usual sunday evening tv, and now heading for an early night.
