RYE

Met a previous work colleague today and spent the whole day in Rye. Very festive... we went to Lamb House where the rooms had been decorated for Christmas in a 70's theme. Very nostalgic with music from the time playing on an old Dansette turntable.....really good.
A quick tea and cake and lots of popping in and out of shops....too much talking.
A short visit to a Carol concert....only time to sing 2 carols....then off for our evening meal at The Mermaid....excellent.....more talking.
My "taxi" arrived ( Richard) and we had a very foggy drive home. Most enjoyable day.
