Merry and bright

Woke up to a dusting of snow on top of ice. It was bitterly cold. MrK had lit the fire. I love that in the morning. The garden looked so pretty, even without much colour.
We caught the last hour of the Creake farmers market and had a welcome hot drink. On the way back we popped into Del's nursery for a small potted tree. I'd persuaded MrK we could have a small one in the windowsill.

I decorated our little front room while FK did some school work after a long lie in.

Went over to have a cuppa with mum. The cold weather doesn't help her arthritis and she was in a lot of pain.
We left the car there and walked into fakenham to see the Christmas tree festival in the church. It was stunning with over 30 trees and so many people donating to the charities they represented. Humbling.
We didn't stay for the light switch on as it was just freezing, but had a stroke of the two donkeys dressed in father Christmas robes!
