Wonky Christmas tree

Well, it was from the sublime to the ridiculous: after my triumph yesterday making an origami wreath, today I was bottom of the class when it came to making an origami Christmas tree. My brain couldn't get itself around the immensely long strings and changes of direction and I was ready to give up but the tutor rescued me by offering an easier pattern - although I have to say that it wasn't as successful as the proper pattern which I've got as an extra. Well, you win some and lose some. It could have been a mistake to do two workshops on consecutive days - I need to curb my enthusiasm.
