Late afternoon sky over Silver End, Essex

The sky was amazing array of colours this afternoon after days of dull, grey skies. The wind has been strong rattling the fence and shaking the branches of the silver birch in my front garden.
I’m busy working on a new short story, the first to be submitted in the new year. It’s hard when you start something new, it’s a bit like pulling teeth. The first draft is always rubbish, but you have to get it down so you have something to work with.
Have a wonderful Christmas
