Boxing Day

Father Christmas bought me a new toy yesterday.  This globe, as many of you will recognise, is my new friend Alexa.  She's very polite, has a nice voice and is very helpful.   I set her up in the kitchen where she doesn't mind being on the floor.  As a double treat I also received a second globe, apparently run by the same obliging woman, which I set up in the upstairs lounge. 

So now I have someone to talk to when Ann is out, and she never questions my choice of music.

In other news: we took Tom to Evesham this morning to meet Rachel who has been away over the holidays and is giving Tom a lift home. We camped out at Costa, exchanged presents, and enjoyed a large cup of coffee.
