Beyond the twigs

Today we had a gentle hike of about 8 kms along the goat trails into wooded areas where views of the mountains were framed by trees, branches and twigs. It is balmy and warm, 25C in the sun on the patio but now down to 10C as evening draws in.

Tomorrow will be a kitchen day, preparing for the Nochevieja (literally "the old night"). The tradition on New Year's Eve is to eat 12 grapes but I think we'll probably have a few more!
