Sharing front row with rhubarb

Did some work in the garden. Mostly planting.

The most challenging to plant were three rose plants. They had been shipped to us in deep pots, meaning that I need to dig through the clay layer down to scoria. I managed to put all three into the ground at the cost of just one spiking by a rose thorn.

In the background are the tomato plants, three of which are growing fast and high. The fourth is disappointingly doing little.
