Day Trip

Thankfully the days of rest have proved restorative and I made the day trip to Ruth's without difficulty.   No holiday traffic to contend with on the Welsh roads and light Sunday traffic elsewhere combined with bright and dry weather to make it a pleasant - if long - driving day out.  Ruth had her scan, Meg had a walk, a couple of little jobs were done.   The drive home completed non-stop.  Job done.

The best of the weather was in the first part of the morning drive so a stop at the lake at Talyllyn was compulsory :-)
