Wormhole

Ferry to Manly Beach today. Beautiful sea, sand and surf but I was intrigued by this tunnel through the cliff at the far end of the beach. Known as the Queenscliff Wormhole, it is said to have been carved by fishermen in 1908 to connect two bays. Curious rock colours and formations. Surprised the photo came out as I couldn’t see the tunnel floor as I went through, to come out on an airy ledge (Extra Blip).
