L’affaire marche!

I finished the restoration of this Daumier print my Dad gave me when he returned from Paris when I was young. It’s a nice momento of him. I’ll hang it in my office.

It’s also a good reminder to lawyers that fine legal principles are all very well but someone has to pay for the case! As a litigant in the federal court, I share these sentiments! Although I received the exciting news today that my judicial review has unblocked the blocker that prevented my son getting his passport.

I think it translates roughly as:

Advocate - the case is progressing!
Plaintiff - that’s all very well, but if it keeps going like this, I won’t be able to afford the shoes to come and follow it.
