Are We Nearly There Yet?

I spent this afternoon dealing with what I sincerely hope is pretty much the last of the mountain of paperwork, letter-writing, researching, photocopying, emailing, scanning, collating, phoning, signing, posting, filing etc etc etc etc to deal with my dear late Mum’s estate. It’s now just over a year since she died. She would have been horrified that it’s been such a long haul, especially as she did all the right things to try and make it straightforward. Everyone warned me it would take an age to wade through all the “sadmin”. I didn’t believe them. I do now.
