Toucan

After an exhilarating morning bike ride, we visited the OTS  (Organisation for Tropical Studies) in the Puerto Viejo region for a guided tour around the area to spot some more wildlife.  I finally managed to get a reasonable shot of a toucan, although I have cropped it somewhat.
There were many colourful birds to be seen everywhere. I have yet to look up what they are. In the second extra is an unknown plant, but I was fascinated by the geometrical shapes.
It is a lot cooler here high up in the mountains, and we have had the occasional refreshing rainshower. WiFi, however, is extremely slow, but I have persevered so far in uploading blips. A sudden power cut hampered yesterday's blip too. Unfortunately I will have to get round to looking at all your journals when connectivity improves.
