Anatole's blips

By anatolebeams

All quiet - after the winds and storms

But it is not forecast to last long.

Today, we looked out the window,  dropped tools and headed for the hills. It was a spectacular day out.

This is Loch Gamhna - just beyond the favourite Loch an Eilein in the central Highlands, looking south along the edge of the Cairngorm plateau. We walked up towards Glen Feshie where incised valleys shelter some superb areas of old Pine forest. Very quiet - except for a NatureScot survey drone that buzzed past at one point.
