The patient!

Jude had a very bad night and seemed to be feverish and headachy so it was decided she wouldn’t go to pre school today especially as Granny and Boppa were here to baby sit.

Waking late she missed mummy going off to work and was rather unhappy when daddy was going too, taking Eda to school on his way so she was settled on the sofa in her dressing gown with a blanket to watch ‘Frozen’ which she calls  Let it go!

After a while she wanted to get dressed including tights over the damaged knee from yesterday’s fall. She knelt on it on the sofa but refused to stand.

Having momentarily left the room I came back to find she’d migrated across the room and got some Frozen jigsaw puzzles out to do. Come lunchtime she still insisted she couldn’t walk to the table!! Apart from that she seems just fine and her knee is healing well.

Chris is collecting Eda from school and as she is now getting pocket money they are returning via the ‘Magic’ shop in the village of Larkhall just down the hill so that she can spend it. I think they will get something for Jude too.

There are some lovely Hellebores out in Grace and John’s garden and early primroses growing on the grass bank’s alongside the drive up to Bailbrook House where we walked yesterday, spring is springing in the south west.
