What a welcome home!

We slipped off to the Caribbean for a low-key celebration of our Golden Wedding since neither of us wanted any fuss. 
 
 So imagine our surprise to come home and find bottles of champagne, prosecco , flowers , glasses  and even a rose bush waiting for us not to mention a flurry of cards. 
We are, of course, delighted at this unexpected celebration of our 50 years together. 
 
And thank everyone very much for their thoughtfulness and generosity.

We realise we are something of an oddity in this day and age where everything is speeded up and that goes for relationships.
