We have a regular community of feathered friends visiting the garden and given that the feeders are so close to the window I should get some excellent shots .However so far this is the best I’ve managed, I need to dig out the camera and leave it close by as the phone camera isn’t good enough .
We had a day with Freya and then picked Arthur up from school and brought him home for tea . It’s been quite a while and he was very enthusiastic about coming and also delighted to become reacquainted with some of his favourite toys .
We gave him his birthday presents , a day early, and he was throughly delighted by them all . He is a passionate child , feeling everything deeply which at times is overwhelming for him. Thunderbirds and Paw Patrol are his current loves.
Tomorrow Isaac and family arrive for the weekend to join in with some birthday fun , the extra shows one of the rooms ready for them . It was a bit of a relief to know that our son doesn’t need a bed this weekend as it meant we could tidy the other rooms into his ! My excuse is that we are still housing childhood belongings of our children plus stuff from our family homes . The sorting and dispersing is a mammoth task !
