My day

Joe Tree Day

Joe Tree was the inspiration behind blipfoto and so we admire and thank him for allowing us to join this unique world wide group of blippers. Some like to create the perfect picture while others like to chat. I started as the first and morphed into the latter. The photography and human interest stories keep me coming back each day.

My tree today was planted about 5 years ago in place of a huge old decayed elm. All logged faithfully on blip. You can see the first colour change for our autumn at the top. I was out there bringing in the washing. What a thrill. After surgery and rehab little things mean much more.

I had my 6 week post op visit to the surgeon in our neighbouring city (Orange). He said I was doing well. Not the best and not the worst but nicely in the middle range of normal. I can do anything now within my limitations and confidence. Next visit in 5 years. He also wrote a script for antibiotics as I had a big piece of tooth or filling become dislodged this morning. Dental appointment booked for next week. He wants me to have antibiotics before dental work for up to 6 months. They keep changing the protocols but I’m happy with that.

My rash kept me awake for hours last night. The hot weather doesn’t help. I couldn’t even tolerate a sheet so I’m pleased it is summer / autumn.
