BFF

The term didn’t exist back in our day but Anne and I have been best friends forever since we met in our first year of high school in 1963.
She met Max about the same time and married him in 1969 thwarting my plans for us to travel the world together :-(
I forgave her and became her bridesmaid and godmother to her son.
We have always kept in touch and although we catch up less often than we should I think we would still talk till 3am if our husbands weren’t there to reign us in.
We called in for a late lunch and long afternoon natter on our way to Dubbo.
