The Opera House and the Harbour Bridge from the path to Mrs Macquarie’s Point. The cruise ship is a relatively new addition to the classic view.
Extra: Elizabeth was the wife of Governor Lachlan Macquarie. A seat was carved for her in the sandstone here in about 1810, by convict labourers. It’s said that she would sit here watching the ships and thinking wistfully of England.
