Rescue

I resumed my early spring garden work today, wearing 5 layers to insulate me against a 25mph wind which reduced the top temperature (8º) to a "feels like" 2º.

It was a good incentive to keep moving, and towards the end I headed for the greenhouse to get some chores done in there. My strawberries have survived the winter, as has my parsley (the parsley is outside but I can check it out from inside the greenhouse).

Today was my fourth car-free day this week. That is better than average, but the downside of those days is that often I do not go anywhere and just focus on what has to be done at home.

Saturday will not be car-free, but I am not yet decided on where I will be going. Queen's Park's game is at Ayr, and I would love to be there, but the 190 mile round trip is stretching things a bit. Mind you, the fish and chips I had there last time was top quality. Tempting...

I have Blipped some daffodils I rescued from the wind. Attentive Blippers will notice blue sky and fluffy white clouds in the background.
