A Lidl Adventure at Lidl

Mainly wet today and nothing interesting enough struck my eyes to photo. So, after a visit to Lidl for some compost and for three discounted items, I was annoyed with myself when I realised that I had forgotten to use my Lidl Plus card (it's a UK loyalty card). And no discount.

I particularly wanted to try a Portuguese wine from Alentejano, but with £1 off, plus get 15% off two things we buy regularly.  Annoyed, so I went onto the Lidl app and had a conversation with their AI bot. Apparently somebody or something will get back to me on Monday. It asked me what discount I would have got, so I am remaining optimistic about a positive result.

All this is to save £3.21 on purchases of £22.28 when it would have been much simpler to just have used my card.  

My blip shows the receipt and my working out. The shopping list is much shorter than the items I bought (of course). A better blip tomorrow!
