Hazy skies

We awoke to a heavy mist over the mountains and there have been strangely dull hazy skies all day. It is, however, balmy and warm with 22-25C most of the day. We took the hiking route over the Torcal mountains today and noticed how poppies are already starting to appear.

On the return home the peaceful Sunday quiet was livened up by motor bikers passing through, enjoying the mountain roads which are usually free of traffic. (extra)

We managed to get under cover just as the rain arrived, only a short sharp shower, but most welcome. The bikers will have also managed to stop at the bar in the village and stay dry.
