I was meant to go and meet a friend in Andover today but at the last minute we had to postpone as she wasn’t feeling up to it. I frittered the day away sadly. It was lovely and sunny this morning and I had intended to sow some seeds but didn’t until later in the day and the developers gardener was making so much noise with blowers and hedge trimming I couldn’t hear myself think so I packed it in and went back inside. By the time he left it was cold and raining .. perhaps tomorrow.
I decided to look through my treasure cabinet that I inherited from my mother. This is the mark of a piece of beautiful porcelain from the von schierholz factory in what became East Germany. It was manufactured between 1865-1911 so officially an antique at over 100 years old
