Camellia Japonica

It appears that the plant ID software on my phone works well (see yesterday's blip for reference). We only planted this Camellia a few weeks back and it's clearly happy – it has dozens of flowers on it and should be in bloom for the next few weeks, I reckon. Whether a daily blip will be able to keep up with all the different flowering plants in the garden is another matter – I'd not really noticed how many there are until I started looking properly. We shall see (unless I get bored of it!).

It's a nice way to start the day though ...
