Entwined

It's interesting to see climbing plants make their way to the light. The Convoluted Hazel is fascinating in its own right and beloved of flower arrangers; here it is playing host to (I think) a clematis, which is quicker off the mark to deploy its leaves and soak up the spring sunshine. I'll never know whether the relationship is one of parasite or generous host, but I can appreciate the shapes they make as they dance in the breeze.

Otherwise a day for avoiding the showers and doing a couple of jobs in the workshop to get two people back on the road; tomorrow will be a day to spin my wheels somewhere. :-)
