Patient
I drove to Sherborne today, motoring electrically, and passed this car on the side of the road. I thought as I saw it that it would make a good blip, but then I was past and I thought no more of it. On my way back, an hour later, it was still there . . .
. . . so I stopped and asked if I might take a photo; the two occupants were quite happy with that but they told me that the poor old machine had broken down and that it would take up to four hours for the RAC to come to their rescue! So I took a photo, chatted for a few minutes and left.
Perhaps they'll bring the machine to the village fete in June, I suggested.
"If it's fixed . . ." was the reply.
