Getting closer

The birds are becoming bolder as we slowly move the feeders closer to the house. Mind you, the robins are never very shy.

Had a jay in the garden again today. That’s the picture I really want. As the rain stayed away I did a big dump run and some more gardening. It didn’t start raining until late afternoon by which time I was happily immersed in week 1 of my six week art and philosophy course via Zoom from the National Gallery. "Art and the sublime" this week. Excellent stuff.

The staff at the dump called me "Bamboo Man" today as I had taken a load of it up there. Sounds like a pound shop version of Iron Man …
