Second Rounds

This is the second round for these oak barrels. After about 5 years housing wines from Burgundy, their oak flavour has mellowed enough for them to house wines in the Champagne region. They spend a few years here before their next assignment.

Fascinating to learn about the production process and the multitude of regulations associated with this fiercely prized label.
