Aosta

We explored Aosta today. In any direction you look, there is a picture postcard view. Snow covered mountains are the back drop for this valley town below the Alps. The ancient roman wall encloses the town in a neat rectangle. The blip shows a section of the Roman wall and the Alps in the distance. A 12th century mosaic was discovered in 1999 under the choir floor of one of the churches we visited today (extra blip). It is a double blip entry night. I’m tired, so the second blip gets gypped (jipped?) of verbosity. Plus my iPad is nearly out of juice. Buona notte.
