Pendragon castle

The aubetia growing in all nooks & crannies gave added charm to this ruin. Pendragon castle was originally built by King Arthur's father Uther Pendragon, but this is legend rather than historical fact.   Lady Anne Clifford did extensive renovations in 17century.    There were lambs everywhere!! Mostly Swaledale with a lot of crossbreeding.
