Lavender Bells

AW did some research.  Apparently, they are a type of hyacinth as well.  Never mind, they are small and pretty, and come with colour variations.

After dinner, AW left for the usual Friday evening bridge at Sweed's and Benna's.  Lavinia couldn't make it last week due to the death of her BIL, and she was absent for a whole month last March, so Sweed was really looking forward to this evening's games.  In the future, we'll have to see if we can coordinate our holidays with Lavinia's plans so that AW and she could be gone at the same time, and Sweed and Benna aren't left high and dry too long.  There is, of course, no obligation on anyone's part to arrange things that way, but it is something to consider.

Supermarket errands on foot, and I got caught in a refreshing shower on the way back.  Thankful I had my coat on, for a change.
