Calves

Calving has started with a steady daily stream. I went with husband in the afternoon while he tagged some of the new calves and when we went to feeding I brought his quad bike up to the field so he can use it up there. We also did a twin on with a cow whose calf never made it and a calf whose mum has mastitis. It seemed like it would be a success which is good. I forgot the most important bit Breagh got to come for the whole outing. She loved getting to "help out". And her ride on the quad bike.
