The Boulders

I've back blipped Ella's 18th birthday celebrations, phone photos, what a special and happy day it was.
This morning we headed home with a few stops on the way.....I actually used the Sony camera today, yesterday the phone was my convenient camera.
We called in at Karitane for some photography, then to the Moeraki Boulders.....I had heard they were mostly buried in sand build up and that was the case.  Only the tips of this one was showing (freespiral, take a look).  I did take the tripod thinking I may do a long exposure getting some water swirling around the boulders but the tide was well out.  So we went back to the cafe and had a coffee and toasted cheese roll.  We sat out on the terrace in the morning sun, lovely. (a reflected selfie in extra).
My photo today is looking straight into the sun, I converted to black and white for more impact.
