Life on crutches day 36

My husband has a new toy. A hover drone camera that follows him. Or the phone it is attached to. I took these screen shots from the videos he took with the hover and what I took with my phone to show what was taking the videos.

As you can see there's still snow in the backyard.

My husband emptied the greenhouse. We bought new soil for the greenhouse. I feel horrible that I can't really do anything. I'm wondering if I should (with massive help of my husband) plant the cucumbers and tomatoes tomorrow. Cold nights seem to be over.

First we should put in the water hose the greenhouse could be cleaned from the inside. Then put in the new soil and then plant the veggies. That's quite a lot on crutches with no hands or to ask someone else to do all that. He does eat the produce too, so it's not like it's totally unfair, but perhaps 50%. Well, I will see how it goes and how I feel myself tomorrow. But the cucumbers will need to go out soon.

I had a call from the new job yesterday. My first thought was that they are gonna take the offer off. Well, turned out that the person they hired for the open position had gotten a job already, so they are now offering it to me. It's for the rest of the year, but also with very good chances it will continue. They do need staff. They want me to start 1st of May!

But I had just planned to have my summer vacation with my husband at the end of May. Initially planned few weeks in July. I told about this and that I do need vacation to keep my strength up. And I need some time to do stuff after all this hopping around with crutches. So I said that I will vacation in May or July, They can choose.

So now I will call them after my appointment with the doctor on Tuesday. I just feel like after we agreed on something and I changed my plans according to that. And now I'd need to change again, which doesn't feel good to me. I worry I will give in and not have any time with my husband, which I don't get to see that much during the week and with the new job schedule, even less that the previous week.
