The pineapple tree and chickens

Does a pineapple tree produce pineapples? 
 No, despite its name.  The name comes because It smells like a pineapple and its tiny seedpods look like one.

 I liked the chickens ( see extra) kept in a chicken run in a corner of its walled garden, proving it’s possible to have your own supply of eggs even in an urban setting.
