Bonus day

It was meant to rain all day, so we had chores planned. But it turned out dry, so we abandoned all thought of chores and went walking in Chamonix instead. So much better! Heard my first cuckoo of the year, enjoyed the most amazing views, replaced my lost season pass with no additional admin required (a real treat in France) and had lunch along the way. We did do some chores when we got home, but it felt like a lovely bonus day,
