Not impressed

Mr W is not happy that our visitors have gone, and less than happy that Millie had an upset tummy last night resulting in a number of visits out to the garden in the wee small hours.

Not even an offered chew brightened his spirit so there can be only one solution, D&K, you need to come back!

In other news of the day, Arnie was measured for cataract removal, but there are a few things that need to be done before that can happen.

Firstly, a solution for his returned atrial fibrillation is the priority, and then the Cardiologist (appointment on Friday), needs to figure out how his meds can be managed to allow the surgery without other health challenges.

Next, he needs to be weaned off some of the cortisone, but that will be a process to ensure the inflammation caused by the GCA is kept at bay.

He is also waiting for the results of his blood tests to figure out why he had the wobble on Friday.

So, he made an important decision to cancel his flights to and from Edinburgh in October. Hugely disappointing for him, but a sensible decision. He can revisit that plan once his health has improved.

We will make a plan to take a local break around the same time to soften the blow. Fortunately, we have so many options locally that I am sure that will work out just fine.

In between all that, I was at the office. Can’t say I got much done, but it was good to catch up on recent developments.
